Blogging tips

We interrupt this blogcation...

For a little glimpse...

I know, the chairs are lame, but we kinda blew our wallet out with the table purchase.  Hopefully, a chair upgrade will happen some time later.
Still.
I'm enamored.
I also feel pretty much like an ass, posting about something as trivial as a table, when there are families who, because of some mindless freak in Colorado, will never again sit down for a meal with their mother/father/sister/child.
A movie.
Going to see a freakin' MOVIE
Seems safe enough.
No longer.
That's no longer where we are.
Don't think I need to remind you to hug yours an extra time or two, but I will anyway.

Love the table... and so true, what a horrible, senseless act of violence. One of the children shot was 3 months old! 3 MONTHS! I think I'll spend the day cuddling my little girl!....

That table is gooooorgeous.

And you are right- so many horribly things happening in the world right now, its easy to ignore it all and focus on pretty things, but that's not reality. My heart goes out to the families.

Love.the.table! I hear the chairs calling for paint. I hear the devil calling for that sick bastard. Miss you guys, want to gather round your new table and celebrate good things and good people.

Love it. All of it.
I'm so sick about this mindless bastard that took young people in a MOVIE THEATER. Unbelievable.

Super pretty! The chairs look good and I bet they are easy to clean up. Please plan more blogcation interruptions.
Very tragic...

I live in Colorado and we're hurting again. A teenage member of my extended family was at the theater. She is struggling with what she experienced and her Dad is traumatized at the thought of almost losing her. Spending time with my favorite blogs is a escape. Please don't apologize for bringing a little light into the world. I find so much love and community in these blogs that I think they're a good thing and not trivial.
My personal soap box is the wish that free psychological services was more available than weapons.

Oh, I forgot to say that I love the table and the chairs look great.
Take care all.

That table is drool-worthy. Love it so much! And couldn't agree more about CO. Crazy shit that shouldn't have happened causing so much pain. Senseless.

Thanks for the kind words about my mirror. Once again, I feel silly complaining about it in the wake of real tragedy. Initial prognosis from a couple of antique people is that since the mirror is resin it will be very hard/nearly impossible to fix, but I'm still waiting to hear back from some local restorers.

The table is gorgeous! And I can't get my eyes off of that wonderful artwork behind it! Love all of the brilliant colors.

Lastly, extra hugs have gone around my household this past week. xoxo

Loving! I JUST ordered the white plastic chairs with the wood eiffel legs (Eames copies) for my dining table. Could be crusty quality, but still excited. That marble top and that art are on the money!

I love that table, it is an investment lifetime piece, for sure! Thanks for the mention about COLO. They are all in our prayers and the aftermath will never go away. It really makes you 'pause'...
Enjoy your break.
