Custom Sofas on the Cheap(ish)

I've apparently been living under a rock. I only recently learned about the Custom Sofa Design website, where you can (as the name infers) design your own sofa. There are tons of styles to choose from, several grades of worthwhile fabrics, trim (like nailhead and contrast welting) and, even cushion upgrades like feather and down blend. So basically, you can work up your dream sofa like the pros, but drop significantly less cash.

**Update** They went out of business (wah waaaah), but are referring clients to Sofa Craft. It seems the options are similar, but there isn't the mind-boggling assortment of them. They also don't preview fabric samples, which makes it difficult to visualize.

The possibilities are limitless, and the range of styles could be used in any type of interior. Some of my favorite styles are:

the Lola

the Desmond

The Kentwood

the Leon

...which I used as the starting point for a little design board goodness

But wait! There's More! Headboards and beds - shapes of which you'll recognize from very high-end vendors.

It could be....Braziliant!

Has anyone had any experience with their products? If so, spill it!

I found them about a year ago and found much to love! I've never ordered from them so I'd love to know about the quality myself!

Your moodboard is wonderful - red and blush pink - so high energy! And I'm in the market for a new bed, so maybe I'll pop over - thanks for the source...

I bought a couch from them a few years ago and it's held up wonderfully! They also created a matching ottoman for me. It's great quality, comfy & I haven't had any issues at all. They delivered quickly and with no issues. The shopping experience is, well, less than luxury (you can view samples at a "showroom" in a storage unit in LA.) A girlfriend of mine bought a bed and as been incredibly happy! I'll always buy our couches from them!

I've never commented on your blog before, but I love your work. The sofas are beautiful and such good prices. I think I can toss my sofa to a relative in need now without the guilt. I'm off the check out information on the framing.

I might try them out if they can do quotes. Cause that Fulham sofa from Restoration Hardware is way to big for the space I need it in.
