Whistle while you work...

Catching up on lots of laundry and post-weekend straightening - You know, the whole Cinderella thing. If I had a fabulous laundry/utility room like any of these, I can promise you I'd whistle while I worked!

  1. That last pic is amazing! Right now I'd just love to have my washer/dryer INSIDE my house rather than in my garage. :-( You can appreciate this Alison, last night I went outside to gather my last load of the day a huge cucaracha was there to greet me....such a glamorous life.
    Happy Monday.

  2. Any of these would be much better than doing laundry in my basement!

  3. Sure I could whistle while I worked if my laundry room looked like this. My living room doesn't even look this nice!!

  5. love, love, love that last one! do you think it's two washers and a dryer or the opposite? my front loader washer is SLOWER than my dryer - crazy! I would def take two washers over two dryers... I'm babbling...

Currently our laundry room lino floor is ripped off (by my daughter and a spatula)I have a wood (esque)floor to install...in the garage and tile for the counters (in said garage).

Your Images just might inspire me to get started.

  10. Love htese photos. But it's funny to me - a wee bit - how what 'turns us on' changes over time.

ms less is always more: My palms got a little sweaty at the thought of 2 washers and a dryer!

    Whew....breathe....

  11. I'm spending much of my day in the laundry room as well. While it's oceans away from looking like any of these, I'm hoping the cheap-o baker's rack I just bought (and am now trying to assemble...okay, so I'm on a BREAK) will help maximize it's utility.

  12. Too funny - while doing laundry yesterday I wrote a post on laundry rooms that's scheduled for tomorrow! I picked one of the same photos. You've got good taste. :)

  13. I love this post. I am in the middle of organizing and redoing my utility room. When I asked my hubby for help to brighten up the room, his comment was, "Why, its a utility room?"

  15. Oh I totally agree with you. I need a laundry room like that.

Mine is horrible! Needs a complete makeover.

I should post pics, but I'm scared it would make your eyes burn.

    It's pretty bad.
