Five Years of Wedded Bliss

Five years ago today, I wed the man whose kind and humorous soul still puts a twinkle in my eyes.

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Three amazing days with family and friends, capped off with the most beautiful, intimate, but fantastically fun wedding I could have imagined.

We had a burro parade with (terrible/cheap) tequila shots (post-ceremony, I assure!)
Mariachis during sunset
Fireworks after dark
Silly fun...
...And poignant moments (dancing with Dad)
And as I celebrate my love for this man
...Realize I would walk down that aisle all over again.

  12. Happy anniversary! Your wedding looks like it was a blast.

The one thing I regret about my wedding was NOT doing the traditional first dance with my Dad (he hates dancing -- as does my husband, actually -- so I scrapped the dancing entirely). It's such a sweet moment at all the weddings I've been to and always gets me weepy!
